Who is Phil Carson?

I have been tying up willing females for over 30 years, and have studied the craft and science of bondage since 1982. Seven years ago, I launched one of the first bondage-oriented websites on the Internet, Bondage Web & Fetish Central (which is now the home of my archived photos).

In 1998 I became associated with the largest distributor of bondage materials, Harmony Concepts, and created hundreds of bondage images and nine "Love Bondage" videos for them. Working for Harmony was a dream come true, but something was missing ...

If "love bondage" is an erotic game that lovers play ... where was the eroticism? Where was the quiet desperation, the rapture in her eyes as her lover continued to torment and tease her, for as long as HE wanted to, past her ability to control herself? If bondage is a game ... where was the FUN?

Here it is, on these pages. I call these lovely ladies "Damsels in Sensual Distress", and I present them for your review.

What does "Sensual Distress" involve, exactly?

It's easier to tell you what it doesn't involve: no scenes of punishment or torture, no hardcore sex, and no gratuitous "spread shots". In fact, I don't shoot full nudity at all. I prefer to admire a woman's curves straining against tight fabric, showing ALMOST everything ... but ... not ... quite. (Plus, unwrapping a present is not as much fun if the paper is already gone ...)

What Sensual Distress DOES involve:

Beautiful, seductive women who truly enjoy being helpless in the "embrace" of yards and yards of rope ... and it shows.

Careful, intricate, effective, and TIGHT ropework and secure gags ... that's my "signature".

Professional production values in every image.

Sexy ladies in erotic costumes, thrilling in the sensual possibilities of their ropes and gags. Some enjoy playing the helpless damsel in need of rescue -- some prefer a healthy dose of mechanical stimulation -- some like a shot of erotic discomfort. All of them play sexy, exciting games before my camera ... just for you.

What should I expect as a member?

I update the site every week (typically on the weekend) with at least 300 exclusive, original Phil Carson images, as well as commentary about the ladies I work with. (My work for Harmony Concepts is only available through the Harmony website.) Finally, there are many RealVideo clips from my photo shoots. I try to add at least one new clip every month.

Some of my photos feature women wearing street clothes, or tight spandex, or lingerie, or stockings, or high heels ... or maybe only a skimpy thong. Regardless of their costume (or lack of it), our ladies always wear yards and yards of tightly-wrapped rope - unless I'm tying them with pantyhose, or leather straps, or ...

Why don't you just post ALL of your images here?

There are a number of reasons, but the main reason is that five weeks is the approximate length of a membership, so that's how long the images are typically available. If you join for a month, you'll see a month's worth of images - similar to a magazine subscription.

How long am I a member?

The membership period is 30 days, unless you have a long-term membership. Credit cards are automatically renewed unless you cancel your subscription before the 30-day period ends. 1-900 number memberships must be renewed each month; they do not automatically re-bill.

Aw-RIGHT! Sign me up! How do I join? I currently offer three ways to join: Credit Card (through Epoch and Verotel) and 1-900 (through Epoch) for monthly subscriptions, and a manual membership option for long-term memberships (or those who don't want to use a credit card). Click here for specific information.
I just joined. How do I get into the website? After choosing your username and password, you should have been taken straight into the Members' Area. If you weren't, go to the front of the site, click on the "MEMBERS" button, and enter your username and password.
How do I cancel my membership? If you joined with a credit card, you can cancel your membership by clicking here, or go directly to Epoch's Customer Service website. If you're a Verotel member, access your account at TicketsClub and cancel from there. If these options don't work, you can e-mail me with your subscription number and request that I cancel your subscription. 1-900 memberships do not automatically re-bill, so no cancellation is necessary. No refunds will be given for long-term memberships (unless I close the website).
I am having problems joining through Epoch and Verotel. Do you offer other ways to join? Yes! I now offer a manual membership option that allows you to join with a check or money order. Click here for details. I expect to be accepting credit cards directly in the near future.
I am having trouble logging in. What should I do? A couple of possible problems and their solutions are listed below. If these do not solve your problem, please e-mail me immediately. Please describe the problem you are having, the URL of the page where you are having problems, and your subscription number.
My username and password used to work, but now when I try to log in, I can't access the Members' Area. What happened?

Assuming your membership status is current, the most likely explanation is that someone has used your username and password to get into SensualDistress.com illegally. You may not have shared your password intentionally, but if you use the same password every time you join a pay site, chances are password hackers have stolen it and are sharing it with other hackers.

I have installed security software that suspends a member's account immediately if more than one person tries to use the same password. When this happens, I will send an e-mail to the address you gave when you created your membership account, asking you to send me a new password. I cannot be held responsible for suspending your account if you used a fake e-mail address when you first signed up.

If your account is "dead" and I have not written to you yet, or if you think there is some other problem, please e-mail me with the details of your problem, and I will try to correct it as soon as possible.

I'm using a Mac. I used to be able to get into the Members' Area, but now, after I enter my username and password, the browser seems to stall, and it won't let me into the Members' Area. What's the problem? We've identified a problem that seems to be limited to Macs running Internet Explorer. It appears that sometimes, the cookie our website places on your computer somehow corrupts itself, blocking access to the Members' Area. (We use cookies only as a security measure; the cookie does not send any information back to our server.)

To fix the problem, first make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser. Then, select the Edit pull-down menu, and drop down to Properties. When the Properties window opens, select Cookies. Find all instances of "philcarson.com" (or philcarson.txt) and "sensualdistress.com" (or sensualdistress.txt), and delete them from the cookie list. Click Save, then reload the Members' Area of the website again. The cookie will be re-established, and the problem should be resolved.

I joined via Epoch. How do I update my credit card information or email address?

You can update your credit card information or email address only while you are still a current subscriber. Go to:

http://www.billingsupport.com

Credit card, e-mail address info, etc. can be updated at that page. This option to change the info is only available if your subscription is still active. If your membership lapses because of a credit card decline, or expiration, you will have to sign up for the website again.

Will we get to see any of your older pictures?

The photos I took for Harmony Concepts are owned by Harmony, and can only be seen at the Harmony website.

All 15 Galleries showcase images that have previously been posted to SensualDistress.com, and three new Galleries are rotated in each week to replace the three oldest Galleries. Many of these images, plus thousands more, are available on BondageWeb.com, in pay-per-view token galleries.

I loved your spandex and lingerie bondage videos for Harmony. Are you still producing videos? Absolutely, as time permits. Click here to see the videos I currently offer. I have nearly 30 hours of unseen video footage, and in the upcoming months will be releasing more very erotic bondage videos, all featuring very beautiful women, very tightly bound, and loving every minute of it. Stay tuned!
May I repost your images on my website or to Usenet?

NO (but thank you for asking). No images, graphics, and/or design on this website may be redistributed in any form, under any circumstances, without my prior written consent.

My work is not in the public domain. My copyrighted website and photographs are registered with the U.S. Government and are protected by the Berne Convention. I will protect my copyrights through all legal means.

How do I contact you?

Simply write to me at Phil@SensualDistress.com! I read all the e-mail I receive, and I answer every letter I can!
